A man has admitted assaulting another man with a metal pole or similar object.
Hugh Bolland, 35, pled guilty to a charge of assault to injury at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
His plea of not guilty to a second charge was accepted.
On July 1 at his home address in Irvine’s Moorfoot Way, Bolland struck a man on the body with the object, hitting him on the head and body with his hands to the man’s injury.
The case was adjourned for reports until November 28.
