Ardrossan folk flocked to the annual Christmas lights switch-on in Glasgow Street last Friday.
Despite a lack of festive lighting in parts of Glasgow Street (see p3) the town came out in force to support the event.
After the grand parade through the town, there was plenty for locals to enjoy and loud cheers went up when the lights around the Civic Centre were switched-on.
Our photographer Charlie Gilmour was there to capture all the fun of the evening.
Looks as though everyone had a great time, despite the winter chill.
