STAN - the dog missing in Irvine for four days has been found safe.
The black Tibetan terrier bolted from Irvine Beach Park on Thursday afternoon whilst out a walk with owner Nathan Primrose.
He was last seen running between Rockware and the Maritime Museum heading towards Victoria Park.
But the frightened dog was finally found today at around 12.30pm in Drybridge.
Nathan said Stan is currently with his mum Eve Primrose and they are heading to the vet to get him checked out.
He said: "Stan has been found. It's like a lottery win. We are just so relieved.
"I'm not sure of the exact circumstances as yet but my mum has found him in Drybridge. He is freezing cold and disheveled but he's alive and now he's safe.
"We are so grateful to the whole town for their support. I owe the whole of Irvine a pint, but I can't afford that so it's first come, first served."
Welcome home Stan!
