SUPERSTAR Stevenston wrestler Grado was left speechless last week when a kind Kilwinning schoolgirl sent him a touching card.
Just before Christmas Grado’s beloved mum Maureen had sadly passed away.
The grappler, who was appearing in Panto in Glasgow over the festive period, shared a photo of a card that had been sent to the Pavilion Theatre which included a £10 note.
It read ‘Dear Grado, Sorry to hear about your mum. I want to give you some of my Christmas money to give to a charity.
‘Love from Katie from the top end of Pennyburn.’
The heartfelt message was shared on social media by Grado and his adoring fans were left flabbergasted by the kindness of the youngster.
Grado then shared a photo of himself and Katie after the show with the caption ‘I met Katie! What an absolute star and amazing young lassie - cheers for putting a big smile oan ma coupon.’
