THREE people who assaulted a man to the danger of his life have each been jailed for more than three years.

Amie Winifred Elizabeth Wilson, 26, and 21-yearold Charmaine Holmes, both currently at Polmont Prison, and William Patrick Gallacher, 35, of Ardrossan’s Strathclyde Avenue, all pleaded guilty to one charge at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.

The trio assaulted the man on October 9 of last year at Dalry Road in Ardrossan.

They repeatedly punched and kicked the man on his head and body, seized him by the body and dragged him along the ground and stamped on his head to his severe injury, permanent impairment and to the danger of his life.

Wilson, Holmes, and Gallacher were all jailed for 39 months each.
