A MAN is to be of good behaviour after throwing a plastic baby bath at his partner.
Calum Ross, of Blackwood Avenue, Catrine, admitted to assaulting his partner by throwing a plastic bath at her on November 18 last year at his address.
The 28-year-old appeared before Sheriff Mhari Mactaggart at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
Depute Fiscal, Jennifer Harkins, explained: “At around 2am, the complainer returned home after being at a wedding with the accused.
“At 4am, the complainer was awoken by an argument with the accused – he picked up a plastic baby bath and threw it at her.
“He was take to Kilmarnock Police Station and questioned.”
Speaking on his behalf, defence solicitor Neil McPherson, said: “My client and his partner are living together. Neither of them has been in this type of situation.
“He is thoroughly ashamed of himself for what he did.”
Sheriff Mactaggart deferred Ross’s sentence for six months to be of good behaviour.
