A man who admitted to possessing cannabis at his home has been given a second chance by a sheriff.
Mark Macleod, 43, pleaded guilty to two charges at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week. His plea of not guilty to a third charge was accepted by the prosecutor.
Macleod was in possession of cannabis and cannabis resin at his home in Ardrossan’s Barrie Terrace on January 4 of this year.
Sentence was deferred until August 17 for Macleod to be of good behaviour and for the Crown to provide an update on the potential proceeds of crime application.
