A MAN has appeared in court after two pensioners were allegedly robbed and in connection with another theft in Irvine.
Ewan Hainey, 27, from Ardrossan, appeared in private at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday, March 23.
Hainey was charged with theft, alleged to have taken place in Fullarton in Irvine and two counts of robbery in Ardrossan and Saltcoats.
He made no plea during the short hearing and was committed for full examination and released on bail.
He will appear at court again at a later date.
