One of the UK’s most exciting new music artists will be performing in Irvine Library this weekend.

Maisie Peters, a Radio 1 featured artist and will be putting on a gig in Irvine library on Saturday, April 7 from 8pm, as part of her first Scottish tour.

The event forms part of ‘Get Loud in Libraries’ – a nationwide programme to bring top young musical talent to libraries across the country.

The young singer-songwriter from Bristol has built an impressive fan base online with original songs like ‘Maybe’, ‘Build a Boat’ and ‘Over You’.

Showcasing her talents on her YouTube channel, Maisie currently has more than 35,000 subscribers.

Her debut song ‘Places We Were Made’ has been streamed almost six million times and got her featured on Radio 1 by Jo Whiley.

Her Irvine event is a chance to catch an intimate gig with someone who will likely selling out far bigger venues in the near future.
