A comedy mystery play presented by a group of published crime writers at Irvine’s Harbour Arts Centre raised some serious cash for charity.
Break the Silence is an Ayrshire-based charity that provides a range of tailored, holistic support options for Survivors of rape and childhood sexual abuse, aged 13 years and above.
And at its Kilmarnock office, cast members Michael J. Malone and Douglas Skelton presented a cheque for £740 to Chief Executive Alison Tait.
The sum was raised through ticket sales and a raffle.
The play, Carry on Sleuthing, also features Caro Ramsay, Theresa Talbot (BBC Scotland’s voice of traffic) and Pat Young.
It was presented at the HAC on February 2.
