Residents have the chance to choose North Ayrshire’s outstanding Council employee by nominating them for the Customer Excellence Award.

Now in its seventh year, North Ayrshire Achieves is NAC’s employee recognition programme which asks residents to nominate a council employee they feel deserves to be recognised for their excellent service.

Chief Executive Elma Murray said: “Our staff work so hard every single day to deliver outstanding services to the people of North Ayrshire so we are always extremely grateful when people take the time to nominate an employee who has gone above and beyond the call of duty.

“We’ve had some fantastic winners over the years but without a nomination, they wouldn’t have got the recognition they so richly deserve.

“Through supporting this worthwhile employee recognition programme, our residents and customers have told us many heart-warming stories of the difference our staff have made to their lives.

Nominate online at www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/NAA or by picking up a nomination form from the Customer Service Centre in Bridgegate House in Irvine, Saltcoats Town Hall, or one of our other local offices or libraries.

Closing date for nominations is 12 noon on Monday 2 July, and our winner will be announced in November.

Last year, dedicated classroom assistant Anne Pettigrew, who works at Ardrossan Academy, picked up the Customer Service Excellence award after being nominated by members of the public.
