AN IRVINE man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his own sister.
Jordan Matthew Johnstone, 24, of Irvine, is accused of killing 22-year-old Annalise Johnstone, from Ardrossan, at the Maggie Wall’s Memorial in Dunning, Tayside.
He made no plea when he appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Friday and was remanded in custody.
Annalise’s body was found in a wooded area at the road side of B8062 between Auchterarder and Dunning on Thursday, May 10.
The Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Superintendent James Smith of the Major Investigation Team said last week: ”Our thoughts are very much with Annalise’s family and friends, who are still being supported by specialist officers during this difficult time.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank members of th e public for their assistance during this investigation.”
