THIS year's Marymass Queen will be Greenwood pupil Rebecca Hanvey, the Times can exclusively reveal.
The 14-year-old former Glebe pupil was plucked from dozens of her peers to become the 90th Marymass Queen Elect.
Rebecca's family are overwhelmed with pride at the news she will be crowned Marymass Queen 2018 at this year's event.
Her mum Alison Hanvey said: "I am bursting with pride. What an amazing daughter I have. I must be the proudest mum on the planet."
Well done Rebecca!
The Irvine Times will reveal the full Marymass Royal Party this week.
