Irvine residents have been thanked for their help after a missing dog was reunited with its owner.
Maisey was picked up by its owner this evening after going missing at around 3pm on Wednesday at Irvine beach park.
Owner Ian McLaughlin said: "We've just found her and I'm just on my way down the road.
"She had been spotted two or three times and volunteers had come down to help, people from Irvine, Kilmarnock, everybody has been amazing.
"I'm greeting like a big wean. I can't thank everyone enough. People were out looking in the early hours of the morning, people's generosity when the weather was blowing a gail, I'm overwhelmed by it all. Thank you everybody."
