A man snatched a mother’s pram while her infant was inside and made off with it.
Andrew James Wilson behaved in a threatening or abusive manner on various occasions on June 12 at a street in Irvine and elsewhere.
He shouted and swore at a woman, followed her, seized hold of her pram, which was then containing her infant child, made off with the pram and child, refused to desist when requested to do so and placed the woman in a state of fear or alarm.
Wilson, of Adams Avenue in Saltcoats, pled guilty to one charge at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
The 31-year-old was placed on a Non-Harassment Order for 18 months and fined £400.
