A man who assaulted a female relative in her home is to be sentenced next month.
Hugh Johnstone, 36, entered the woman’s Irvine home uninvited on March 14.
He demanded money from her, pushed and pulled her, shouted, swore and banged on windows there.
Johnstone, of Stevenston’s Wheatley Road, pled guilty to one charge at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
His plea of not guilty to a second charge was accepted by the prosecutor.
Sentence was deferred until August 27 for the court to obtain a Criminal Justice Social Work Report.
Johnstone was bailed until then.
