POLICE are appealing for information to help trace a missing man.
Robert Black, 58, was last seen outside Woodland View Hospital on Kilwinning Road, Irvine around 10.30am on Friday, September 14.
He is described as being white, between 5ft 8 and 5ft 10, of heavy build with grey/brown receding hair.
He is clean shaven, occasionally wears glasses and described as well spoken.
When last seen he was wearing a light coloured knitted jumper over a shirt and tie, a dark coloured suit jacket and trousers and a three-quarter length fawn coloured jacket with a collar.
He was also carrying a black holdall style bag and a black and yellow River Island carrier.
Sergeant Stewart Slaven of Irvine Police Office, said: “As time goes on, we are growing increasingly concerned for Robert, who requires daily medication.
“He has travelled extensively on his own in the past, usually on the train to places such as London, Exeter, Cornwall and Ireland. Officers have been checking CCTV and working with British Transport Police and travel companies to make sure he is safe and well.
“We would ask anyone who has seen anyone matching his description to come forward.”
