A CASTLEPARK schoolgirl starred on the runway at the prestigious London Fashion Week.

Rising star Chloe Lennon was chosen to take part in the Mini Mode show at LFW at the weekend to model for high-name designers.

The youngster – who is also an Ambassador for the Down’s Syndrome charity Nothing Down – strutted her stuff on the catwalk and looked every inch the star.

Celebrities, Including Girls Aloud’s Kimberly Walsh, sat in the audience and watched as the confident five -year-old modelled clothing from the Autumn Collection.

Mum Jade said despite it being her first time, wee Chloe was a total professional.

She said: “She loved it. She knew exactly what to do, and her face just lit up when she realised she’d done everything how she was supposed to. First thing she said to me when she came off was ‘I did so well mum’. She loved it. She’s very proud of herself.”

And Jade said seeing her little star on the catwalk was an emotional experience, adding: “I can’t even describe how proud I was watching her. She practised so much, and it definitely showed.

“She proved that she’s more than capable of doing just as well as her peers, and I could see people watching her walk we’re in awe. I definitely shed quite a few happy tears!”
