The winner of Aldi’s Supermarket Sweep in Stewarton has raised £827.34 for a local food bank.
And lucky shopper Graeme Aird also managed to pick up £413.67 in Aldi favourites for himself in the trolley dash.
Graeme was chosen as the winner of an in-store competition and took part in the five-minute trolley dash for charity on August 8.
As well as taking home a trolley full of goodies, Graeme successfully found the hidden inflatable in store, meaning Aldi Scotland doubled the total value of his haul and donated the lump sum to his nominated charity, Stewarton Churches Together.
Graeme said: “I’m in Aldi every week and I couldn’t believe it when I received the call to tell me that I had had been chosen to take part in the Supermarket Sweep.
"It was such a fun experience and I’m so glad that my kids were there to cheer me on. It was even better to know that the food bank would benefit too.”
Anne Strathdee, of the Stewarton Churches Together food bank, said: “We had such an excellent time at the Supermarket Sweep and we are so incredibly grateful for the generous donation to our foodbank.
"It will go such a long way to helping those most in need. Thanks to Aldi and the fantastic winner who did so well.”
Richard Holloway, regional managing director for Scotland, said: “We are proud that the Aldi Supermarket Sweep is a firm favourite across the country, and we are so pleased to bring it back this year.
"Congratulations to Graeme who managed to raise an incredible £827.34 for Stewarton Churches Together and snap up a whole load of Aldi treats for himself.”
