AN IRVINE company just lost out on becoming the official printers of the Olympics despite beating competitors from around the world.

But, even though Brown Brothers didn't win the golden opportunity, the printing company still done the town proud by making their way to the final 13 companies to be considered for the London Olympics 2012. And that was against 1300 other companies.

Creative director David McColm said the 14-strong company, with an annual turnover of around £1million, were over the moon to take the lead over huge printing conglomerates.
