Could headache nightmare be over for Chris

AN AMERICAN pain therapist has vowed to help a Kilwinning man avoid potentially life-threatening surgery to combat his nightmarish cluster headaches.

Douglas Braunworth, of Chaska, Minnesota, saw Chris Allison's story on the Irvine Times website and got in touch with us.

And he hopes to be able to provide some relief for the 42-year-old Kilwinning man, without him having to resort to surgery.

Chris is currently waiting on news of funding for the pioneering surgery in London.

But Mr Braunworth is convinced he can help him avoid the need for an invasive operation.

He said: "I have been able to help another person with his cluster headaches and seeing as Mr Allison is ready to go to such extremes, I though he might go for one a little less extreme."
