THE MAGNUM'S £25m replacement looks in doubt once again after council bosses admitted their plans were off target and would not see them build at Ayrshire Central Hospital.

Their bid to secure land at the site faltered after their valuation failed to meet that of the health board.

North Ayrshire Council Education Director Carol Kirk has now admitted that other avenues are being pursued.
