BOOZE HUNGRY GIRL STOLE FROM SLEEPING GRANDPA

A GANG of teens waited while one of their group stole cash from her sleeping grandpa so they could afford more booze.

Almost £300 in cash was taken from the man's ground floor flat in Irvine's High Street by his own grand-daughter, before it was shared among her friends.

One of the teens, 18-year-old Natalie McDonagh, pled guilty to handing out the cash among the group at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.

She will be sentenced later this year after admitting to reset of £295.
