A 60-YEAR-OLD woman has denied stealing two chihuahuas from an address in Irvine and assaulting two women at the property.

Margaret Taylor is alleged to have assaulted a woman at a house in Rannoch Place on February 21 2014.

She allegedly pushed a door against the woman, causing her to fall and then seized hold of her.

Taylor, of Priesthill Farm in Muirkirk, is also alleged to have stolen two chihuahuas from the address in question on the same date.

She also allegedly drove a car into another woman at the same time and place to the woman’s injury.

Taylor appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week where she pleaded not guilty to all three of the charges.

She will appear at the same court again for trial in June.
