Sixteen-year-old Irvine boy in court over alleged indecent images
A 16-year-old Irvine boy was arrested and appeared in court last week over alleged possession of indecent images.
The teenager offered no plea when he appeared before Kilmarnock Sherriff Court on Thursday, February 23.
He was committed for further examination and released on bail.
He will appear before court again on an unconfirmed date.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: We can confirm that on Wednesday, February 22, a 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection with an alleged offence contrary to Section 52 of the Civic Government (Scoland) Act 1982.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
