A 50-year-old man has denied acting in a threatening or abusive manner towards an employee at Domino’s Pizza in Irvine and threatening to murder another man.

Mark Drysdale Shaw, of Forde Crescent, Stevenston, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week where he pled not guilty to one charge.

On February 28, Shaw is alleged to have attempted to induce an employee at Domino’s to reveal the whereabouts of a man.

Shaw is alleged to have threatened to murder the said man, approached him, uttered threats of violence to him and pursued him in his car.

Shaw was granted bail with special conditions that he doesn’t enter Domino’s in East Road, nor have any contact with the man.

He will return to the same court in July for trial.
