A 17-year-old girl has admitted to assaulting and injuring another teen and acting in a threatening or abusive manner in Irvine.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty to two charges.
Her plea of not guilty to a third charge was accepted by the prosecutor.
On February 13 at an address in Martin Avenue, the young woman seized a 15-year-old girl by the body, tried to pull her from the property and repeatedly punched her on the head to her injury.
She also shouted, swore, uttered threats of violence and acted in an aggressive manner.
The court was adjourned until next month with the purpose of seeking advice from the Children’s Panel
