A 28-year-old man has been jailed for six months after admitting to being involved in the supply of heroin.
Sean Haldane, of East Broomlands, Irvine, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week from custody and pled guilty to one charge under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
His plea of not guilty to two other charges were accepted by the prosecutor.
On July 15 last year at an address in Irvine’s South Vennell, Haldane was concerned in the supply of a controlled drug, namely heroin.
Haldane was sentenced to six months in prison to run consecutive to the total period of imprisonment to which he is currently serving.
