THE next outing for the Cunninghame Ramblers will be on Sunday, July 9.
This is from Balloch to Helensburgh, roughly nine miles in length, with a couple of short but steep climbs, but participants will be rewarded with some lovely views of Loch Lomond.
At Helensburgh, walkers will take the train back to Balloch. This involves two trains - so, Helensburgh Central, change at Dalreoch for Balloch. The leader’s phone number is 07584027423.
The next walk will be on Tuesday, July 11 at Barrhead. The walk is called Dams to Darnley and is around 7.5 miles. It includes two waterfalls, three reservoirs and a visit to the Darnley Sycamore. The leader’s phone number is 01294 211896.
The meeting point will be at the Caledonian car park off East Road adjacent to Aldi in Irvine at 9.15 am.
