A MAN has denied sexually assaulting three women, including a 15-year-old girl and a woman in Irvine, while pretending to carry out health checks on them with a stethoscope.

Paul Gillespie, 23, of Inverclyde View in Largs, pled not guilty to three charges at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.

On various occasions between November 1, 2015 and December 20, 2016 at the A78 between Ardrossan and West Kilbride, and elsewhere, Gillespie is alleged to have pretended to a teenage girl that he was carrying out health checks on her.

It is alleged that Gillespie asked the girl, who was then aged between 15 and 16, to lift up her t-shirt and unclip her bra.

He allegedly touched her on the body, including breasts, with a stethoscope and his hands. Between the same dates, Gillespie is alleged to have assaulted a woman at Dubbs Road in Stevenston and elsewhere while pretending to carry out medical checks on her.

He is alleged to have asked her to lift up her t-shirt and touched her on the body with a stethoscope and hands.

Gillespie is also alleged to have pretended to carry out health checks on a woman during the same time period at the A76 near Bellfield Roundabout, the B730 near Drybridge, Irvine, and elsewhere.

He is alleged to have asked the woman to lift up her t-shirt and unclip her bra, and alleged to have touched her body, including her breasts, with a stethoscope and his hands. Gillespie faces trial at a later date.
