Portal closed for official opening ceremony
The Portal will be closed this morning for the official opening of Irvine's new leisure centre.
The official opening of the Portal will take place today in what NAC promises to be a fitting celebration of Irvine's fantastic facility.
Sporting heroes Danielle Joyce and Abby Kane – both record-breaking swimmers – will carry out the official honours with Derek Grieve, head of the Scottish Government’s Active Scotland Division.
Local groups and a number of KA Leisure member have also been invited along to showcase everything the Portal has to offer.
Please note that the Portal will be closed from 8.30am until noon unless you have been officially invited.
Normal service will resume thereafter.
