Man arrested for theft of meat
A 38-year-old Irvine man has admitted to stealing meat from a supermarket.
Scott Gary Woodward, of Caldon Road, pleaded guilty to one charge of theft by shoplifting at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Woodward stole a quantity of meat at Aldi in The Braes, Saltcoats, on May 12 of this year.
The case was adjourned until later this month in order to obtain a Community Payback Order Progress Report.
