Kilwinning-based pipers presented with prize by Queen
The Isle of Cumbrae Royal British Legion Pipe Band, based in Kilwinning, started the month with a fantastic competition win at Braemar.
They were presented with the prestigious prize by Her Majesty the Queen at the famous gathering.
They were competing against ten other bands and managed to come out on top.
As part of the Highland Gathering, they took part in mass band performances and parades before winning the Pipe Band competition.
