A 20-year-old man has been fined after admitting to racially aggravated behaviour towards police.
Colin Parker, of Irvine’s Ochil Court, pled guilty to one charge last week at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
On July 9 at an address in Main Street, Dreghorn, Parker acted in an aggressive manner, refused to leave the location when requested to do so, shouted, swore, and uttered a threat and an offensive comment towards police in attendance there.
Parker was fined £150, £25 of which was imposed in respect that the offence was one which was related to racial prejudice.
