A 41-year-old woman has admitted to being in possession of heroin while on bail.
Helen Maxwell Hood, of Irvine’s Boyle Street, was found with the Class A drug at Saltcoats Police Office on August 13.
At the time of the offence Hood was on bail, which she had been granted on three separate occasions at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
Hood appeared at the court last week and pled guilty to one charge under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Sentence was deferred until October 27 as Hood has other matters calling.
