Man jailed after attempted bite and threats on East Road
A man has been jailed after attempting to punch and bite someone in Irvine’s East Road.
Alan Robert Clark, of Innes Park Road, Skelmorlie pleaded guilty to an assault charge and one of threatening or abusive behaviour.
The 41-year-old admitted to attempting to punch the man on the head and attempt to bite him on the body on August 21, 2016.
He also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm after shouting, swearing and making threats of violence.
Clark pleaded guilty to both charges at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court and was sentenced to three months imprisonment.
