The popular and enduring musician is no stranger to Irvine audiences, having visited many times before during his 30 year career.
Over the years Eddie has toured extensively in the UK, Europe, New Zealand and Hong Kong, has released several albums and released a lot of material including the popular 'Stolen My Heart Away'.
Whilst primarily a solo singer, in 1988 he formed a partnership with ace guitarist John James which lasted seven years.
In recent times Eddie has established another musical partnership, this time with wizard harmonica player Fraser Speirs and Irvine audiences have been fortunate enough to have heard both collaborations.
Eddie will be playing at Irvine Folk Club on Wednesday, January 25 at 8pm in Vineburgh Community Centre in Quarry Road.
