AN IRVINE man who strangled a woman in the street has walked out of court with a fine.
Samuel Dean, of Montgomery Street, committed the attack at Caldon Road, near its junction with Livingstone Terrace, on May 24.
He assaulted a woman by seizing her clothing, pushed her, pulled her and strangled her.
Dean, 54, pled guilty at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and was ordered to pay £300.
