AN Irvine man who sent abusive Facebook messages to a woman has been ordered to carry out unpaid work.
Martin McIvor, of Pladda Crescent, sent the messages on September 23 from a property in Lewis Crescent.
The 25-year-old sent sexual, threatening and offensive messages to the woman.
McIvor appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty to the offence.
He was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work to be completed within three months.
