TWO Irvine men have admitted attempting to carry out unwanted gardening work.
Sean Byrne, 46, and John Stewart, 79, committed the offence on April 22 and April 23 in King’s Road, Beith.
The pair repeatedly attended a 79-year-old woman’s home to carry out work which had not been agreed to.
On April 23, the men returned and sprayed an unknown liquid onto the slabs of the woman’s garden despite repeatedly being told not to.
Byrne, of Titchfield Way, and Stewart, of East Road, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty to the offence.
Their case has been adjourned until January.
