POLICE have allegedly seized a drugs haul with a street value of more than £1,800 from an Irvine house.

The drugs were allegedly found in a house in Girdle Toll during a police search on Monday, August 17.

A quantity of alleged class B drugs were allegedly recovered and a 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly being concerned in the production of a controlled drug.

The man was held in police custody to appear at court.

Chief Inspector Brian Shaw, Area Commander in North Ayrshire said “The misuse of drugs has a direct impact on crime in local communities and with the continued support of local people we will tackle the issue and disrupt those involved in the supply and production of drugs.
