Kilwinning man celebrates 100th birthday
KILWINNING man John Kerr celebrated his 100th birthday on Saturday, February 24.
John was born and educated in the town and on leaving school, worked on his family farm.
He went on to take over the farm from his dad in 1949.
John celebrated his special milestone with his family and close friends with a birthday lunch at West Kilbride Golf Club.
Happy birthday John from everyone at the Times.
