A MAN who assaulted another man at a Kilwinning holiday park has been ordered to pay £600.
Alexander Fadian, of Renfrew, pleaded guilty to two charges at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
His plea of not guilty to a third charge was accepted by the prosecutor.
Fadian, 34, assaulted the man on June 24 of last year at Viewfield Leisure Park in Kilwinning.
He pushed the man to the ground and repeatedly punched him on the head to his injury.
Fadian then behaved in a threatening manner whilst in a police car on a journey between the holiday park and Saltcoats Police Office.
He shouted, swore, struggled with police officers, uttered threats of violence and a homophobic remark.
Fadian was ordered by the court to pay £150 compensation to the man he assaulted.
He was also fined £450.
