Kilwinning Fire Station could be set for a massive overhaul, if plans get the go-ahead from the council.

Strathclyde Fire and Rescue have submitted proposals for alterations to the building, including erecting a generator compound.

And plans also show that the upgrade would also show that the upgrade would also see a new external look of the building in Stevenston Road, which is manned 24 hours and used for training and community exercises.
