IRVINE will be playing host to a May Day march and rally on Saturday, May 3.
The march will start from the Vineburgh Community Centre at 12 noon.
There will be a rally at the Vineburgh Community Centre at 1pm with speakers including Frieda Park from the Venezuelan Solidarity campaign and Robina Quershi from Positive Action in Housing.
There will be entertainment and stalls with the rally followed by an debate on Scottish independence involving Ayrshire and Arran MP Katy Clark and Cunninghame South MSP Margaret Burgess.
