THE life of a tragic Kilwinning man will be celebrated with a special concert next month.
On Saturday, September 20, Kilwinning’s Woodwynd Community Centre will play host to Queen tribute act A Tribute to Freddie Mercury to honour beloved Andrew Gallacher.
Andrew initially went missing which promoted an unprecedented appeal to help find the popular local lad.
However, his body was eventually discovered leaving his family grief-stricken and the whole of Kilwinning stunned.
Not only will Andrew’s life be remembered but all of the proceeds from the event will go towards a memorial fund for his daughter.
The Olivia Grace Gallacher Fund has already raised a staggering £2,610 and looks set to raise even more with the fundraising concert.
