A CHILDREN’S treatment centre has been given a colourful makeover thanks to a kind Kilwinning student.
The corridor of Ayrshire Central Hospital’s Rainbow House now proudly displays a striking wall mural designed by Ayrshire College student Sarah Boyd.
Sarah created the mural as part of her HND Art course and shows Rainbow House and other Ayrshire landmarks using a variety of materials and beautfiul bright colours.
Administration Manager Elaine Murray voiced her delight at Sarah’s mural.
She said: “Sarah met with a range of staff at Rainbow House and decided that the mural should be as tactile and colourful as possible to appeal to our young patients.
“We are delighted with the final results and would like to thank Sarah very much for creating this wonderful friendly welcome for people as they come into Rainbow House.”
