THERE are now just hours left until the polling stations close on the Scottish Referendum.
Polling stations in North Ayrshire and across the rest of Scotland will be closing at 10pm.
A result in North Ayrshire is now expected tomorrow morning (Friday, September 19) at 4.30am.
The Irvine Times will be working through the night to cover the referendum. Check back for more information.
