CLUED-UP kids at a Kilwinning primary school were looking to the future recently with a special presentation.
Primary 7 pupils at St Luke’s Primary were paid a visit by Irvine Housing Association who delivered an interactive employment session with the pupils.
The ‘My Future’ campaign is aimed at P7’s who are moving into secondary school after the summer and highlights how important it is to leave school with qualifications as well as aiding discussion around what they want to be when they grow up. Gillian Scott, Irvine Housing Association’s Employability Officer, was on hand to lead the discussions about their futures.
And Gillian certainly got a wide mixture of dream job wishes including a forensic scientist, a farmer and a zoologist.
The pupils were told that anything was possible and Gillian rounded off the day with three simple words - chase your dream.
The future certainly looks bright for these pupils and IHA wished them the best of luck in whatever dream they chase.
