WELL done to the pupils at St Luke’s Harvest Assembly who boosted North Ayrshire foodbank.

Pupil’s from St Lukes Primary School donated a haul of 371 items to the North Ayrshire Foodbank after Primary 4 pupils hosted the school’s annual Harvest assembly.

Pupils were asked to make a donation of a packet or tin of food to be given to those in need as part of the assembly.

As Kilwinning’s first Fairtrade school, the primary 4’s from St Luke’s also performed a short drama on the benfits of using FairTrade products encouraging children to think about ethical purchasing from a young age.
